Born from my own mental health journey, Johnny Be Happy exists to support the wellbeing of men in our community. Giving back, creating hope, and turning small acts into bigger change. Through every driveway cleaned and every story shared, we’re building awareness and raising support for men to find strength, purpose, and connection.
I love pressure washing because it’s my reset — steady lines, simple steps, and visible, immediate results. After more than 20 years running a small business with all the stresses of staff, accounts, sales, and marketing, I’ve found this simple act brings me calm in a noisy and unpredictable world.
By sharing each clean and the stories around them on YouTube, I’m working toward monetization so I can raise vital funds for the Stand Tall Foundation. Too many men today are struggling to find purpose — myself included. Johnny Be Happy is about turning something simple, like cleaning a driveway, into a way of creating change, raising awareness, and bringing men’s programs into our community to support hardworking, everyday men.
I hope to create opportunities for other men to get involved — contributing through pressure washing and, in time, expanding into other community services that make a difference.

Simple, open driveways are typically at the lower end of this range, while areas that are harder to access—such as patios, walls, or brickwork that require moving items or extra care—tend to be at the higher end.

I’m Chris, the many faces behind Johnny Be Happy. After more than 20 years running a small business with all its stresses, I found that pressure washing became my reset. It gave me calm in a noisy and unpredictable world.
Born from my own mental health journey, this project is about more than clean driveways. It’s about creating hope, building awareness, and turning small acts into bigger change for men in our community. Through every clean and every story shared, I’m working to bring programs and support where they’re needed most.
With two young men of my own approaching adulthood, I feel a responsibility to put my energy into something that carries real purpose — something that makes the world a better place for them and for others.
